1) Prepare Before Leaving

If you’re signing up for a trip like this, you probably enjoy being outside and are accustomed to living in the mountains. Bugs, dirt, baby wipe showers, and using the restroom outside might all be part of the fun! If you’re not used to extreme weather, you’ll want to prepare yourself for what’s ahead.
3. Have the Right Equipment

5. Don’t Fear a Minor Headache

6. Acclimatization is essential.
Keep in mind that you are embarking on a marathon, not a sprint, when embarking on a multi-day expedition such as Everest Base Camp. Acclimatization to the low oxygen levels in the mountains takes time, as your body gradually adjusts to the lack of oxygen. All high-altitude research suggests that spending more time in the critical acclimatisation stage of 3,500 meters/11,500 feet is critical.
7. Maintaining a Slow and Consistent
PaceThe rate at which you walk during the journey is crucial! When flying at a high altitude, your goal is to get from point A to point B with the least amount of effort. 8. Protect Yourself from the Sun
The lower the UV protection becomes as you travel higher in altitude. On some days, the sun can be harsh on the road, providing you with solar radiation from its powerful rays. Staying out of the sun will help you avoid wrinkles and skin cancer while also increasing your chances of completing the hike. You become dehydrated when you get tanned.
9). Bring treats for the neighbourhood kids if you have extra room.
One of our favourite aspects of the hike to Everest Base Camp is travelling through tiny villages where people reside.Despite the trek’s severe weight restrictions We recommend bringing treats for the local youngsters anytime you have additional space/weight! Crayons, coloured pencils, books, markers, pads of paper, colouring books, and small toys are all appropriate items to include. The magnificent Ama Dablam is worth visiting the place.
10. Take it easy
!The most essential thing to remember is that you are about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime!Relax, have an open mind, and have fun! There is usually plenty of spare time when trekking to Everest Base Camp. Except for a few longer days, you normally walk between 4-6 hours each day and thus have enough of time to relax, recover, and enjoy yourself when you arrive at the tea houses.and laugh with your fellow trekkers.
