Michael (Mike) Jay Robinson Sr., 66, of Pleasant Hill, joined the Lord on Saturday, November 9th, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. His parents, Don and Jean (Kimmel) Robinson, preceded him in death.
Mike is survived by his children, Jessica Byers and Michael Robinson Jr.; his five siblings: Donnie (Analin), David, Linda Ludgate, Donna Villalobos, and Sandra Perez; his friend of many decades, John Harvey; and his five grandchildren: Dominic, Chance, Skylar, Kallee, and Jaelyn. Also left to cherish his memory are many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of dear friends.
Mike received the Lord Jesus as his Savior and was a member of Berean Assembly of God where he enjoyed the friendship and fellowship. He was an avid fisher and loved the peace of the outdoors. Mike worked in construction and for a period owned his own company. He enjoyed solving problems and loved helping others with projects.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 14th at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Both the visitation and funeral will be held at Berean Assembly of God in Pleasant Hill. Interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery will immediately follow services. Following burial family and friends will return to Berean to share memories of Mike over a light lunch.
