Trostel’s Dish serves up small dishes with flavors from around the world, including pommes frites, margherita pizza and boursin mushroom.
“I tried this for the first time during their happy hour and it was great," Ana Dixit wrote on Google. "We got a bottle of wine to split and it was half price during happy hour so it was a pretty good deal. We also got the sliders and a pizza to share. My only complaint would be that the portions are really small so I was still kind of hungry after we finished eating our food. I’ll definitely be back though.”
“What took us so long to try Trostel’s Dish? I keep asking myself this question," Alissa Burgduff wrote on Facebook. "I think the small plates scared us because on date night we eat big. We walked in kind of late, which made the experience so much better. The waiter was awesome, walked us through the menu and kept bringing our food out as it came up. Don't let the small plates fool you - each one was unique and made to perfection. I think we had seven dishes in total and finished with dessert, which consisted of homemade ice cream. This was one of our top five so far in Des Moines.”
